A Little About Me

A Practical and Personal Approach

I've worked in administration since I was 18, building up experience across office support, business operations and finance. I became a Finance Manager in 2018 and continued in that role until July 2025, when I began working for myself.

I set up Rosewood Data Ltd in 2025 to offer small businesses a reliable, friendly service, drawing on the practical experience I've gained over the years. My work covers bookkeeping, payroll, VAT support, Self Assessment tax returns and a wide range of administration.

Having spent many years working within a business, I know that the job often involves much more than one title suggests. One day it might be payroll and invoices; another it might be updating a spreadsheet, sorting paperwork or following up an overdue payment. I'm used to getting involved in the day-to-day details and helping keep things running.

I like getting to know the people I work with and understanding how their business operates. Some clients need regular help each month, while others need a hand with a particular task or getting their records up to date. We can talk through what would be useful and agree the work and cost before starting.

I'm based in Northumberland and can support businesses locally and remotely. I enjoy working with spreadsheets and finding practical ways to keep information organised, without making things more complicated than they need to be.

Above all, I want clients to feel comfortable asking questions. My approach is friendly and down to earth, and I'll explain things clearly so you know what's being done and what I need from you.
